Bei unserem Webhoster ist man der Sache zumindest weiter auf der Spur.

Slow/unresponsive websites

STATUS UPDATE #1 We have received a reply from our Immedion data center: "I attempted to alter Comcast's preference of Charter, but I believe they have internal path-selection manipulations to prefer Charter as a settlement-free peer, or some such... and so my manipulations failed to yield much result (none, in the case of Comcast peering). I recommend your customer engage Comcast for further support at this point." If you are one of the affected clients, ask Your ISP either to contact Comcast about this or change the routing to avoid Comcast in your network paths. ORIGINAL STATUS We have recently received numerous reports regarding slow connectivity to our services (website/cPanel/Webmail). We have forwarded this issue to our system department and have contacted the datacenter technicians as well. The issue seems to be affecting just some part of our clients, particularly the ones using Comcast provider. What we have observed so far, is that the connection is broken of at a node in the middle of the network pathway in the Comcast network. This issue is quite difficult to deal with since the source of it is out of our reach. You could try to press the issue by contacting Comcast support team regarding this. We will make sure to communicate with the relevant parties and try to resolve this as soon as possible. We understand the inconvenience this is causing you and we are trying to resolve the issue as swiftly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Finanziell hat man sich mit einer Vertragsauflösung einverstanden erklärt, wenn wir uns zu diesem Schritt entschließen sollten.

We are still working on this issue we are already aware of. Unfortunately it's more complex situation to resolve as the source of the problem is related outside of our Data Center. We are deeply sorry for inconveniences and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ich würde gerne weiterhin zuwarten, weil ich sowohl mit der technischen Leistung, dem Preis und dem Support des Anbieters hosting24 bisher eigentlich hoch zufrieden war, insbesondere bei Support-Anfragen bekommt man innerhalb weniger Stunden persönliche, freundliche und kompetente Auskunft.
Wenn sich die von den Slowdowns betroffenen Nutzer unseres Forums einstweilen mit dem Zugang über einen freien Proxyserver behelfen können, z.B. theperfectproxy.com, danke ich euch für eure Geduld. Wenn ihr noch andere Anbieter für einen freien Proxy findet, bitte doch einfach hier posten.
