"Our Parish in Geneva has a lovely classic french style organ made in 1989 by Formentelli in Verona, following the principles dictated by the Benedictin monk Dom Bedos de Celles in his book "L'Art du Facteur d'Orgues" published between 1766 and 1778. It is the property of the children of our former organist who had it made and installed with permission of the parish.
The parish is going to start a major restauration of the church and thus the organ will have to be dismantled and put in storage during the works. The children would like to sell it but the parish does not have the means to purchase it. Would any of you have ideas of whom could be interested in purchasing such an instrument? Ideally anybody interested would have to see it and play it in Geneva before we start the works by year end 2014."
